The New York City School Construction Authority (SCA) is presently undertaking a much-needed major exterior modernization of the Washington Irving Campus Building. We understand that a project of this size and complexity will have an impact on the community. With that in mind, SCA has established this web page to keep the community informed and updated on any developments. In addition, a committee has been established to work with the SCA so that residents’ concerns may be addressed in a timely manner.

As you will see from the enclosed presentation, the work is necessary for many different reasons, most importantly to keep our students, staff and community safe. We want to thank all impacted parties for their cooperation and patience. We will strive to do all that we can to safely expedite the project and reduce the impact for all.
